Activate the Muscle with Functional Electrical Stimulation

Functional electrical stimulation has been used in medicine for decades. Among other things, it is used for rehabilitation after a stroke patients.

In functional electrical stimulation, electrical signals are sent to certain nerve pathways (also called nerve stimulation). The therapeutic goal is to restore damaged motor functions and train the central nervous system to control the muscles independently.

In addition to training devices that are used primarily in the early phases of rehabilitation, functional electrical stimulation products are also suitable for daily use.
